Organization of training programs by the Homeland Youths Social Inventive Organization (HYSIO) for the frontline workers of Kunduz province

From 16 to 18 August 2022, the Homeland Youth Social Inventive Organization (HYSIO), conducted a training program on, Child Protection (CP), Mine Risk Education & EORE, Psychological First Aid (PFA), and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for 155 people of frontline workers of Kunduz province. In this training program, children’s rights were discussed from the perspective of Islam, national laws, and international conventions. Also, the UNICEF trainer elaborated on the situation of psychological first aid and mental health and psycho-social support in Afghanistan, the importance of increasing the awareness of frontline workers to improve the situation of psychological first aid in Afghanistan and the provision of psychological first aid by frontline workers for children. It should be mentioned that at the end of the program, the certificate of completion of this institution was distributed to the participants by the relevant officials.
