Homeland Youths Social Inventive Organization

The Homeland Youths Social Inventive Organization (HYSIO) is a non-profit organization in Afghanistan with a mission to empower men, women, and children in rural areas and create a peaceful Afghanistan. We aim to increase the ability and coordination among service providers to deliver quality protective services for vulnerable children. HYSIO provides services to up-skill youth, improve their economic standing, and provide educational and vocational training opportunities. We have previously provided services to meet the basic needs of vulnerable children and are currently implementing a project funded by UNICEF to provide protective services in three Northern provinces and North East regions. Their services include Child Friendly Spaces, Case Management for unaccompanied and separated children, MHPSS, capacity building for frontline workers on child protection, and advocating for the rights of children. HYSIO’s main area of work is promoting community engagement, child protection, and youth development.
Mission Statement:
Human suffering must be addressed wherever it is found. The purpose of humanitarian action is to protect life and health and ensure respect for human beings.
